The credential for the executive who owns quantum as a portfolio, deciding what an organization adopts, what it defends against, and what it funds, then defending that plan to a board.
Quantum technology has moved from the research budget to the operating plan, and in most organizations the work is split across people who each own a piece of it. A CIO owns infrastructure, a CISO owns the migration away from RSA and elliptic curve cryptography, a head of research owns whichever pilot is running, and nobody owns the portfolio. The CCQO certifies the executive who takes that ownership.
The credential spans both sides of the field. On the opportunity side, quantum computing, networking, and sensing, three markets moving at three different speeds. On the risk side, the post-quantum migration that a security team runs and an executive sponsors. What it validates is judgment about the whole portfolio rather than depth in any one technology, because the decisions an executive faces are what to fund, what to pilot, what to defend against, and what to leave alone for another three years.
CCQO sits above the practitioner tracks rather than beside them. Where PQCM certifies the manager who runs a cryptographic migration and CQSI certifies the professional who integrates quantum computing, CCQO certifies the layer that sets the portfolio those roles execute, funds it, governs it, and answers for it upward.

A quantum strategy and roadmap, marked independently. Assessment details →
Quantum Academy assesses this credential by capstone because the competence being certified is a plan defended under scrutiny rather than recall under time pressure.
You build a quantum strategy and three-year roadmap for an organization we supply, with a sector, a balance sheet, a regulatory position, and a set of internal politics that will feel familiar. Nothing confidential is ever requested.
The brief and the marking rubric go out when you enroll rather than when you submit. A candidate who knows how the work will be judged produces better work.
Two members of the board of instructors mark each submission against the published rubric, and neither of them taught your cohort. Where they disagree, a third settles it.
A clarification round is available where an assessor needs a point expanded, and using it pauses that clock. One resubmission is included if the work does not pass.
| Option | Price |
|---|---|
| Live online cohort, all-inclusive | US$8,499 |
| In-person cohort, all-inclusive | US$9,499 |
| Private executive cohort | Custom quote |
All-inclusive covers the six live sessions, the course handbook, all three Quantum Academy reference texts, the capstone assessment, and the credential on a pass. There is no separate assessment fee and no on-demand format.
CCQO has no prerequisite and no credential above it. These are the credentials the people executing the portfolio typically hold.
Boards, employers, and clients can confirm a CCQO directly with the issuer. Email the holder's full name and, where available, their certificate serial number, and current credential status comes back by return email.
